I love the Spartan chatter. I think it adds some fun atmosphere to the mundane quiet game play of the old FPS days. I would love some custom set voices to toy with. However, my current favorite is “Guard CHECK!” Stated after a teammate achieves a Spartan charge kill. But yeah, “tossin’ a 'nade!” is pretty good, I’m glad there’s more of a comfortable atmosphere rather than just being silent. Reach Firefight sort of had this, but it was much more limited and only worked with a few characters.

Though there was one from the beta, no idea if it’s in the full game, where a female spartan shouted “Watch their snipes!” after a teammate got killed by the enemy with a headshot. She then died two seconds later so that might be why I loved it so much.
Yeah! I think it makes them seem a little more relatable. Like: “Yup, that’s what I would say too generic teammate.” To humor myself, I’ve answered them on occasions.
“Clean head shot!” ME: “Well, thank yooooou.” knods head and points at screen
“The enemy’s dive bombing us!!”

Yes, this one is great. In the beta it was hilarious to hear them yell that every few seconds because it was glitched.
