say your favorite halo and why you like it
Halo 2 , for its’ simplicity and map design. Halo 3 for it’s innovations (Forge , Theater , Ranked and Social done properly). H3 also had some great maps.
Although these games are very different they share a common “feel” to their game play that Halo has not Reached since O.D.S.T.
I really like Halo 5 because of its new Spartan charge as well as the new controls.
Halo 2 because of the epic campaign.
I think all of the Halo games are fantastic for various reasons. But I will go with Halo 3 just because of campaign, maps, and nostalgia.

What is yours?
Personal favorite is ODST. Everything about it just feels right to me.
Definitely Halo 3: ODST by introducing first-person cinematics.
Halo 3: ODST was my favourite campaign. Overall favourite Halo game was Halo 4.

In terms of Campaign, Halo 2 had the best campaign for me. There was such a large sense of exploration for me as there were Easter Eggs and fun glitches all over the place.
In terms of Multiplayer, that would go to Halo 5 with Halo 3 coming close behind. I have fun playing in a competitive setting, and I feel that Halo 5 and Halo 3 were the two most competitive Halo games in the series.
Campaign:
REACH
REACH
REACH
Halo Reach had the greatest campaign to me. Of all the Halo games, I think it best showed what it was like to fight in the Human Covenant War. Death was around every corner, and from the beginning, you knew the end. There is a reason characters always reference Reach when thinking about glassing planets. It was just all around sad and inspiring.
Multiplayer:
REACH
REACH
REACH
It introduced assassinations. Although you ended up having those people who would do that stupid jump while on a ramp and assassinate you thing. But it’s been 7 years, and it still has a huge gamer base.
Armor:
REACHit had some of the coolest designs to date. They seemed so gritty and was a challenge to get them.
But there are several games that I like, which includes ODST, because you could literally sneak half the game and not kill anyone. It was amazing
Halo 3, but mostly out of nostalgia. Arby N the chief started out on there, and I remember playing it when I started the halo franchise. I play Halo 5 and Reach mostly now, but I still hop on TMC and play 3.
Factoring in the whole package - art style, soundtrack, gameplay mechanics, storytelling, multiplayer, etc. - my stock answer has always been Halo 3.
I’m not unaware of some of the problems with 3’s story, though.
Halo 2 because I played I lot of lans whit my childhood friends back in the day
Multiplayer: CE
Campaign: Halo 4
Halo 2/3
2 for the epic campaign, fantastic maps and countless late night grinding on school nights with my friends.
3 for it’s extensive modes, great story, and great maps.
Halo 2
imho ,the best multiplayer gameplay. BR with Hitscan, no abilities (H3 introduced it), beautiful maps.
Halo 3. It was the first console game I ever owned. It had a beautiful campaign and the multiplayer never got old.
Reach or 3
I liked the customization more on Reach but the nostalgia I get from 3s menu alone puts it on par for me
