So as far as I can tell 343 doesn’t much care about the campaign they are focused on PVP and PVP only if this is the way it’s going to be then they need to partner with some other company and have that company focus on campaign DLC I know a lot of players out there think the multiplayer is the be all and end all but I frankly don’t enjoy it never did never will I don’t think a game needs multiplayer to be successful here’s some examples of games I felt like were successful without multiplayer
Dishonored
Dishonored 2
Dead Space
Dead Space 2
Ori And The Blind Forest
Ori And The Will Of The Wisp
BioShock
BioShock 2
Doom 3
Pray
Resident Evil 4
Scorn
Like I said before doesn’t need multiplayer to be successful I feel like competitive gameplay has ruined the weapons the weapons used to be so powerful and awesome and now most of them are just crap anyway I’m out of here for now think it’ll probably be awhile before I play Halo Infinite’s campaign been moving on the other things

i think its a good idea that there let the campaign be done by a other company so that one can focus on the campaign mode and the other on the mutliplayer part.
i know good that some COD titels have done something like that also in the past.
that 1 company was working on the multiplayer part the other was working on the campaign part for the game.
sure there was no DLC idea for the campaign mode at all or open world system but still it was develop by 2 diffrend company’s that has done one part off the game.
and i agree also that the multiplayer mode to has to become successful for the game but if the multiplayer mode fails hard like we see in halo infinite now and there is no love for the campaign mode at all then the compleet game fails thanks to 1 part that is failing hard.
if there was some love for the campaign mode also at the same time then maybe the compleet game has not become a big fail and only the multiplayer part got the damage from the fail since it is compleet broken.
if there wane see halo become a good open world campaign then its better to let a company do it what has a good reputation to make open world game that know what a open world setting all needs then only a story line.

These games did have multiplayer.
That being said, I’m a PvE guy myself and for the record, I think Infinite’s weapon sandbox might be the first good one from a 343 game. They trimmed the fat, removed most if not all unnecessary/duplicate weapon types and at least tried to make each one stand out in its own way somehow. Still not as good as the old Bungie days but definitely a step in the right direction.
Sorry I have to disagree about the weapon sandbox especially when it comes to things like the Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Hydra a lot of the weapons have had their damage reduced drastically way way too much at least for the campaign here an example It takes 2 shots to kill Master Chief in the campaign with fully upgraded shields as to where I believe the one in Halo CE could kill the Master Chief with one shot even with his shields fully upgraded and don’t even get me started on the Bulldog I despise that weapon
