What rank did you guys get after your first ten matches of this season? And is it a higher rank than last season?
For me I got placed in Gold 6 last season and Platinum 5 in this one (Slayer is all I am ranked on so far this season). I went all the way to Diamond 1 - 2, last season. So hopefully I can get it much faster this season! 
Was originally Onyx, last month I placed golds because I was too angry while playing, and now Iām platinum 2. This is all in Swat, only problem Iām having with the ranking is my last placement match wasnāt a challenge, I hope I actually have a challenge in platinum 2.

If you were an Onyx last season I doubt you will have challenging matches till Diamond.

He wasnāt Onyx last season, he was Onyx in the pre-season when SWAT ranks were still broken. Heās only played 30 games so itās not really enough information to determine his actual skill. He might max out in Diamond now that itās harder, so matches might start getting competitive for him on the 2nd half of platinum.
Plus, lots of people ācaught onā to the system for this season & intentionally tried to place low. Iāve seen quite a few platinums who are clearly trolling & keep switching between playing like an Onyx one minute & then a drunkard the next.
I guess thatās what happens when you refuse to put in a social playlist, people are just going to abuse the ranked ones instead.
Platinum 5 and 6 in Slayer and Team Arena last season, ended up in Plat 1 in Slayer because of quitting.
Havenāt bothered to play Arena outside BTB this season, itās just not a fun experience with the matchmaking as bad as it is.
I got Plat 3 in Slayer, Gold 3 in Team Arenaā¦ stupid tankers in Team Arena
I havenāt even bothered to place this season cause unless youāre rollinā with a team it can be pretty tricky to do well. I know placements are more so based on your individual stats rather than win/loss but its hard to have decent stats when the other team has map & power weapon control. Iām absolutely horrible at FFA but sadly thatās been my highest placement so far

lol well everything else I still canāt place higher than golds and platinums running solo I mean Iām not amazing but I feel like I could do a lot better or at least place better with a team but now that I screwed around during the preseason and let friends play and adjusted to an elite controller the second season based on those placements I probably wonāt place any higher now anywaysā¦
