quitting a ctf game when your the prey of boosters. Me and a few buddies enjoy ctf and will get together and play. Now we played a group of people on abandon last night and all of them individually were far superior than us. They quickly and thoroughly dispatched us and sent us to the respawn screen. then I soawned and died (DMR’d to death) I quit straight away. The previous night I actually matched up against this same team on ragnarok ctf and got the same treatment. Spawn trapped at our base and quickly dispatched by them if we tried to push for the flag.
The quickly and easily got two caps within 5 minutes. Then they just killed us over and over again. I admire their effective set up and skills to some degree. However I couldn’t anymore handle it ten minutes in and quit this match. Now I will take a loss by a far superior team if they put us out of misery and play for the win, but I just won’t be the victim of boosters I’ll just quit. So I quit 44 seconds into the abandon match and my team mates followed suit 7 minutes in to the match with the enemy team on 4 caps and many many kills.
One of their players sent us a message saying “Can’t stay for more? hahahaha” to add salt to the wound. Ok opinions on quitting this type of match guys? You can flame me for giving up on these matches if you want but share your opinion too

This is exactly why i wont play with my friend anymore. All him and his buddies care about is boosting their K/d.
Now this was a problem in Reach and i actually would end the game while playing with them because i wanted to win not make the other team never want to play again.
I dont blame you for quitting because honestly getting spawn trapped sucks when thats all they going for.
Now if they had that set up and they just did that so they could set up a quick win then thats a different story but i know a lot of people like this and all they care about is boosting K/d
Yeah it’s annoying both when my team and I are victim to it or if my team is doing it.
If my team is doing it I try and score the flag any way. Some times people like to hold on to the enemy flag and troll the other team getting flag kills and letting his buddies beat up the other team. If that’s the case I’ll betray the guy holding the enemy flag and score it.
Thye should add Ordnance into all CTF matches to prevent skilled players having fun.
I don’t mind being crushed by a superior team who are effective and play for the win. I admire it and try take a leaf from their book. I sent a message back to them saying “Well it’s called capture the flag not exploit the objective to boost your stats, why don’t you and your team go play throwdown? Or are you too scared of losing to real pros”

Or the matchmaking system should be better. The halo 4 experience is so up and down for me. only 3 games out of ten will be against players of my skill level and be close and exciting games.
They should make a boosting gametype where if you die it does not affect the death in k/d.
Think of how great it would be to watch boosters fight one another, simply marvelous.
If you Enjoy Capture the flag, just Avoid game’s with Boosting
Party’s, Don’t let Cheat’s Exploit you.
Just leave and Search for another game, If it’s to bad just go to
another Playlist and try again Another time.

Yeah that’s what it has come to. This team that crapped on us are in ctf roughly around the same time daily (not peak population hours) so I know when to stay away now.
It’s funny because k.d doesn’t matter in halo. As long as its not like .5 or something like that.
This is why K/D will always mean nothing
I spawn trap in exile CTF though. To win. I hold down the line with my DMR and my friends rush in and we bring the flag back home.

Quit an be done with it and if the rest of my team has half a brain they would do the same.
