Ok. So this sparked in my head when I was laughing at people hating halo 5 for being different and sucking. While I enjoy the game. People are just seriously too stubborn. They say COD sucks because its the same yet everyone hates halo for it always being different. Someone explain it to me. My head cant since too much stupidity overdose from halo 5 hate topics
People like what people like. They will then justify their opinion as they see fit. There doesn’t need to be rhyme or reason.

Nostalgia and hypocrisy.
Yeah, the people that complain are players all the way back when Halo CE was the best game out. They complain because Halo is not feeling like Halo anymore. I play Halo games because I have faith in the developers, meanwhile all these kid complaining don’t. Complaints are showing you have no faith in the developers.
I don’t fully understand everyone’s problems but I can admit I can agree with some aspects of their arguments.

Yeah ive been playing since CE but really I’m fine with the changes I’m not the type of person that immediately dubs different as -Yoink-
The only thing I have complained about halo 5 thus far is the falcon disappearance I think
simple Halo > COD
but really, i’m one of those people who would rather have halo 3 type halo every 3-4 years. why? cause that game was IMO perfect, multiplayer with top tier, campaign was amazing. now on COD i would be happy if COD was still like it was during COD4/WAW days. i deeply enjoyed the MW storyline and i am a sucker for anything world war 2. long story short i play a lot of games and base my opinion on campaign, yes multiplayer is extremely important but i want a great story with a great multiplayer. End of the day Halo has changed so much since halo 3. am i a fan of it? meh i mean i still play it, the last time i was so mad about halo changing too much was during reach. hated that game with a passion and still do.
When i say i want the same i mean i want a great game like halo 2/3 and amazing well made maps for multiplayer. halo 5 maps? i pretty much hate them all besides the BTB maps.(remade from older halos go figure) honestly i could go on and on about why i rather see halo going back to classic halo but not everyone will understand or will get butt hurt because i have an opinion that is different from theirs.
How about Halo has a story and a history while COD is more by-game on its story and game play.
But to the point here, Call of Duty players are usually different then Halo players first of all, so we want different things in our respective series.
Second, even if we were the same people, what we really want is a balanced and logical positive change, not the same stale game play but not what happened from Halo 2:Anniversary to Halo 5 (which was a huge W T F how did everything break?)
You will never and I mean NEVER will please everyone. Some will like it, some will love it and the most vocal of the bunch are the haters.
also breaks my heart trying to go back to older halos and feeling such a huge change in gameplay, i thought it was bad playing halo 3 after a few months of 4. now playing anything on MCC besides 4 after playing 5 is just upsetting to me.

Yeah. Goin back to Reach and Battlefield 4. If and when the newest forge system breaks im uninstalling Halo 5 for good. GOODBYE PROBLEMS!!

Yeah same. All these “This isn’t the halo feel” is kinda weird when to me it does feel like Halo. Especially 5 and I’ve been around since CE as well.
I can sum it up in 3 words:
