Do you guys remember Bungie Favorites from Halo 3, and how they showed amazing screenshots taken by very skillful users.
Now in Halo Reach the players vote for their favorites. Maybe 1 or 2 amazing screenshots make it onto the first page of downloaded/recomandedrecomanded. The rest of the page is just “come join our clan” “nude girl XXX” “our clan killed your clan” "a pic of me assassination someone.
Man there used to be time were we recognized people with talent. Not anymore. Today it seems like we vote for the same things every week/month. Its sad.
Fileshares aren’t as easy to view anymore, and Reach’s popularity has died down a bit so I doubt as many competitive gamers go for screenshots anymore. It’s probably mostly the younger crowd, which would explain the abundance of clan pictures.
That’s why I don’t go through the File Browser much anymore. It’s nothing but stupid clan ads, anime pictures, and just plain lame screenshots. Bungie Favorites in Halo 3 almost always had good screenshots.
i have some crazy fails ( both mine and covies ) a double overkill in swat after i was team shot by a rere, A crazy hog capture ride that ends in a wtf, a fire fight where im almost dead and dance around plamsa rockets, fire fight where i over kill some grunts spawning with a stick, another MMFF where i got caught in the middle of 2 spawn points and some how lived…
there are good ones its just the clans and people who want to see that stuff that is #1.
but when 343 gets their file share up for this site and halo 4 that will all change.
