What is with this Knight?

At the end of the video we see that chief gets KO’ed by this knight, however he doesnt look like any of the other normal knights that we saw in the campaign…

Looks to be some kind of higher rank or leader of some sorts. Maybe Chief will be taken to their base?

He also seems to be holding one of the “Mystery Weapons” that people have been looking at. Maybe the higher ranks are just up-armoured variants of the normal knights?

That’s very observant of you. I haven’t really thought about enemy ranks yet for forerunners.

I’m going to assume the different Knight you saw is a Knight that hasn’t deployed it’s Watcher yet.
