OK so I don’t have many problems with halo 5s multiplayer but the banhammer is just so bad. Alright so i was playing breakout and I used the spartan charge to boost to a BR but then two of my teammates (one was my friend) got in front of me and I got kicked for team killing. I was mad but I understood a kick so as I wait for my friend to finish the match I try out swat for the first time and I do nothing wrong but after the swat match I get an 8 min ban and I was like wtf 343 the only thing that would have gotten me a banhammer was the accidental team killing the game before that one and that was the only time I had ever done something like that.
This happened to me last night!! Same exact reason too in Breakout. I tend to cancel my sprinting by pressing my melee button and while combining that with sprint it charges forward.
I killed 2 teammates by doing this in SEPARATE nights. So keep in mind it will carry over.
The weird thing about it tho is that when I killed the second teammate, by accident, it instantly kicked me out. I was able to play another game, then after that game was over I was banned, which I thought was odd. It was only a 5 minute ban from all game modes except Warzone, not harsh but still annoying.

A warning to team killers that it has consequences which places fear in them that if they keep doing it the bans could be longer.

Today I was banned after at the end of the game it disconnected me and counted as me leaving the game. The ban is supposed to be for like 3-4 hours so if I could get this fixed that would be greatly appreciated.
