It’s always been around but it seems to be getting worse, especially after games. Just finished a warzone turbo game and of course the screen froze in the intermission. It resumed the count down and I tried to back out of the intermission and now it’s froze on the leave match making screen. It’s getting kinda annoying to have to shut down the Xbox and restart the game nearly every time you play H5 due to these screen freezes.
Yeh these issues are becoming more common lately, I’ve got a point where I think every 2-5 games I’m expecting something to temporarily freeze up or crash.
The problem is 343 cares more about the HCS esport crap then actually fixing the game of all the error, code, and freezing. Which really is annoying to completely ignore the casual side of the community which keeps this game still alive.

I’ve been wondering about this too. Most of the time you can actually get out of the freeze if you press and hold down the start button for a few seconds. It works for me always if the video freezes but audio is still working normally (what I call a soft freeze). But when the game decides to freeze the audio also it’s RIP (hard freeze).
For me the freezes happen mostly when I return to lobby after a WZ match instead of waiting out the intermission. Specifically if I return too quickly. It’s weird that it doesn’t happen in arena for me. Would be nice if the freezes could be fixed…

So basically the freezing happens after a custom game ends or player rage quit in customs in the game. Then now it happen after Warzone… Funny that it doesn’t do it for Arena but in the super casual stuff. Like I said 343 doesn’t care about the casual side of Halo 5.

So now that I have a Xbox Series X all the Screen Freezing 
issues have been fixed for some weird reason 
. Like if you have the Xbox One X and down you have to go through hell and back. But when you update the problems dissappear which is a good thing but a bad thing as well only because Halo 5 Players shouldn’t have to buy a Xbox Series S|X just to have fun in Warzone and Custom Games.
