What is TU I guess its a dumb question can someone please explain it to me
It is an acronym for Title Update.
The TU gametypes feature reduced reticule bloom, damage bleed to shields, Active Camo lasting a shorter duration, and Armor Lock-using players being able to be forced out, as well as the removal of sticky shedding.
Don’t forget about the sword block removal! You can longer clash with a sword without using another sword.
You also forgot Bleedthrough. These updates were/are believed to mimic H3 settings and have a mixed response among the community.
The Title Update included:
-
Armor Lock drains faster if the user takes damage while in Armor Lock
-
Armor Lock can no longer be used to survive stuck Plasma Grenades. However, while in Armor Lock you will still block anything thrown at you
-
Active Camo does not last as long
-
There is now Bleedthrough, meaning you can take health damage through shields if your shields are low enough.
-
There is no more Sword Block unless you have a Sword yourself
-
Implemented a change where 343 change can the bloom settings on weapons. such as setting the bloom to 0% or 85% of normal
-
Allowed 343 to change the damage on the Pistol, meaning they can have the default Reach Pistol or make it the 3 shot CE Pistol in gametypes
basically everything we wanted that bungie never gave us
> basically everything we wanted that bungie never gave us
Except bleedthrough.
TU: Title Update.
Features of the Title Update: Bleedthrough Melee and Headshots. 85 Bloom and Zero Bloom. No Sword Block, Armor Lock and Camo Nerf. Flawed CE Pistol and Anniversary settings/playlist.
Armor Lock nerf: It drains faster if you get attacked while in Armor Lock. If you get stuck by a plasma grenade BEFORE you lock, you will die instead of shedding off the grenade.
Camo Nerf: It doesn’t last as long.
Sword Block: No Sword Block in TU settings, making the Sword a very deadly power weapon to control/use. Of course with Bleedthrough, you really have to think if you should charge or play passively.
Bleedthrough: If your shields are damaged and you take even more hits, the damage will actually carry over and “bleedthrough” to your health. No longer will your shields absorb melee hits when they are very low, in fact if you are weak and you get pummled with shields, you WILL die.
Headshot bleedthrough is pretty much the same thing, except a headshot is required instead of a melee.
Zero Bloom is a game type that has no reticule bloom. 85 percent bloom however, has a faster resetting bloom and is an improvement over the standard 100 percent bloom.
TL:DR version: Everything should have been. At launch.
> basically everything we wanted that bungie never gave us
That is an interesting statement to me as I have never wanted any of it. Reach was different for a reason.
> basically everything we wanted that bungie never gave us
You have a short, and very weird, wishlist.
