What is this?

So in games I’m seeing issues of Spartans not appearing right away and other frame related issues but when I record a clip there is no issues in the recording. Typically they appear as soon as they make contact with me. So for instance I’m surprised by a spartan charge but in recording a clip to see what happened I see that I should of seen them coming.

Some thing familiar happens in the opposite direction too, rarely some thing will flicker on my screen like an enemy but then there is nothing there in the recording.

It can sometimes be the result of severe lag. When you see players teleporting or “rubberbanding”, hit detection will act weird from your point of view.
Although, it is kind of weird that nothing shows up in the recording. Theater mode reconcile lag and display the “true” game, but recording should be 100% accurate from your point of view.

When you say recording, do you mean DVR? Because my DVR does not clear up lag. Theater mode does, but that’s not technically a recording from your point of view, so that’s why. You misexperienced the simulation. The cameras did not.

I assumed it has to do with refresh rate but it seems inconsistent from game to game.

I thought my tv should be delayed more than not show it during a game.
