Did I miss a new mode coming out? Is it in Rumble pit or something? If it is, how did I not get the mode at all since Season 2 launch? Nevermind realize I never even gotten an oddball match since launch as well, can’t complete that challenge too.
Honestly, my wife got a Strongholds challenge and swapped it out. There are still two Strongholds game type/map combos in the Quick Play playlist out of twenty potential results, so if you select that playlist you have about a 10% chance of getting Strongholds.
Yo. Same thing except I had two challenges at the same time. Complete one Stronghold match and complete two Stronghold matches.
It seemingly took forever. I still have to find a second match. I’m not a huge Quickplay guy either, and I won’t play ranked for challenges.
If 343 updated its matchmaking algorithm to pick a game type first, then a map for that game type. This issue would be a lot better. Then at least every game type would have an ok chance of getting played.
Tbf, I believe they’ve always had some sort of priority weighting for modes and maps in the past. In H5 (and I think H4) they would weight new maps +10-20% chance of coming up after they released
