Screw being respectful. The ranking system is pure trash.
So i’m silver 3 atm.
I’ve been at the top of my team most games and gone positive 90 percent of the time most of it over 1.4.
i lost 18 points for one single loss. Gained 10, 4, 5, and 6(6 i think) in the next 4 games then proceeded to loose 27 points on the next loss despite going positive.
Who the hell designed this ranking system? Why does it care about wins over Kd?
Also why is the lose penalty so step compared to wins even when going positive?

because you can camp in the highest mobility halo ever? i invite you to try camping on either of these maps
I’ve encountered plenty of people crouching about with ARs and SMGs with how strong they are. Get a team together and win games. Ranking systems should never be based off of K/D. If that’s the case I should be a 50 in MCC by now.

My win percentage was 80% after 10 games. I got gold 1. My friend who also got 80% wins had onyx 3 almost semi pro 1. Our stats were identical and he was almost 2 brackets ahead of me. The ranking system isn’t working so nobody should be paying attention to it.
I would also agree that the wins are everything may be a bit out dated now. there needs to be more consideration for those that lost but are still the mvp. going 20-10 and losing because the rest of your team sucks is never fun

I hear what you’re saying. Maybe not take such a big hit on your performance scores when you’re backpacking a team. That’s extremely odd with the rank gap between you and your friend. Myself and 3 others that run together are nearly identical in rank regardless of stats and we have ran every single game together.

The system isn’t based on wins alone. It takes into account who you play and win against too. Your friend must have been winning against higher ranked players.
Or were you guys playing together and winning the same matches? Because if so, then I agree that’s pretty weird.
Well, I played every game with a buddy and he is bronze and I am gold, so it’s not entirely based on wins.
The only difference I’ve noticed in ranking based by stats is that I’m a higher SR rank than my peers. Though, we could have all just gotten lucky. I’m sure they will make the necessary adjustments based on the feedback come time for the final product.

we were playing together. Our k/ds are basically the same. within .01 of each other
