It doesn’t look like a Spartan or an Elite, looks a little like a crawler holding a gun.

Thoughts?

Looking at it closer, it does seem like an elite, but is it just me, because it’s arms look like crawler’s?

Edit. Oh well, I’m probably trying to look at this too hard.

Definitely a Jackal.

Looks like an Elite. But more importantly, notice the Grunt panicking at the sight of the Pelican.

Now let’s hope the other stuff returns:

-randomly generated battle in opening cutscene (Reach ONI sword base, CE Keyes)
-easter eggs in cutscene (H2, ODST, Reach)
-legendary ending
