Edit: it is just the address for sending messages to your XBL account.
Click on My Profile on the pane above the threads. Should be right under the topic name in a topic.
EDIT: It’s not there, it used to be there. That’s odd.
Ok, this is starting to freak me out. I sent an email to myself from my Gmail account to my “@xboxlive.com” account (as seen in the “My Profile” page), and I have no idea where it went.
I assumed it was the private message system over Live, but it hasn’t shown up there. I checked the Hotmail account I got when I signed up to Windows Live, but it’s not there either. And it’s not in my Waypoint inbox.
Seriously, if there’s another account I don’t even know I have, I really need to know about it. My code could be there, for all I know.
No one? No one knows?
Interested to know as well…343 did not do a good job of explaining it. TO me it sounds like it should show up (where you messages show up that friends send you?) But I think that is incorrect.

What is like? To be a baaad mannn… behind blue eyes.
There’s no such email address. It would be your XBOX Live message system/ But to my knowledge, there’s no xbox live email system.

It made sense to me that it would be the XBL message system, but I sent an email to it, and it hasn’t shown up anywhere.
I chatted with an Ambassador about it, and the best we could come up with was that it was a placeholder until the user replaced it with his real address.
I’m still a little weirded out, though.
