If i get the final hit on the boss I get the medal of Course.
But sometimes you also get it, when a Team mate gets the final hit.
So how does it work? Do i have to make a certain percentage of demage to the boss to get the medal? Do i have to participate on the last few hits?
It’s totally random. Have plenty of examples.
It doesn’t just depend on damage. I’ve done probably 80% damage on a boss before and not gotten it, which usually only happens if you die. In my experience, you can’t get a boss kill for your contribution in a previous life after you respawn, although you can get it if you’re in the respawn menu.

Ok, so staying alive until the boss dies seems to be required.
I am just trying to figure this out since i want to work on the “warden slayer commendation” some day…
The system is totally ducked. I haven’t had a warden kill in over a month even though I have put so much damage and tried to put a last shot into so many of them… It’s rediculious really.
