What is the req pack strategy????

The title says it all, “What is the req pack strategy?” Can someone explain.

You want to unlock all your common, uncommon and rares before you start going for gold packs, or else you could be spending twice as much for those cards. I did silver until they were all unlocked, that way when you move on to gold you’re guaranteed to only get ultra rare & legendary cards. Some people say to go bronze to get the common cards unlocked, but you’re not guaranteed an unlock with the bronze packs. With silver, you’re guaranteed 2 unlocks.

Unlock all the commons by buying only bronze packs. Once you finish Bronze packs you move onto Silvers to complete the uncommon and rares. After than you can move onto gold packs for ultra rare and legendary REQs.

Basically the packs overlap between pools of unlocks. By going bronze - silver - gold you increase the process at which you unlock stuff. By sorting the common ones in bronze, your silvers will unlock only uncommons and rares, leaving the remaining ultra rare and legendaries for the more expensive gold packs.

Just finished bronze two days ago, it feels great moving on to silver. No more needlers and 3 req random weapons.

buy them and they will give you stuff.

Buy bronze until you get the “NADIR” emblem.
Buy silver until you get 1500 REQ point cards instead of unlocks
Gold packs

Don’t bother with bronze go straight silvers u til you start getting req points back then go gold.

It’s really personal preference whether you want to start with bronze or just do silver. With bronze, you need to get 3 unlocks every 4 packs you buy to make it worth it. Getting 2 out of 4 would be the same as just buying 1 silver. In my personal experience, and from what I’ve heard from a lot of other players, the percentage of getting an unlock from a bronze is somewhere between 50-70%. Obviously some will have more luck than others, but I went for the guaranteed 2 unlocks in the silver packs.

Yeah I think my success rate with bronze was probably close to 70%. And with selling reqs I would pretty much get a third bronze for every two I bought. If you are looking to just quickly unlock all of the commons without worrying about getting rare stuff to use in the war zone I would definitely recommend going for bronze first. That way once you do get to silver it’s nothing but uncommon and rare.

Thank you all for answering my question. This will help me and others getting the answers we’ve needed.

I prefer silvers as well. I got some sweet looking armor before I even bought my XB1! I also “stockpile” my favorite WZ reqs, I think I have like 30 railguns & twenty-something snipers. Not to mention WZ & Arena boosts, most of which get sold back. I always keep the XP & RP boosts.

First start with bronze they should give you an unlock for a little while until you have quite a bit of them… then start with the silver’s but get a bronze every now and then once bronze gives you a req point card every time you get one you are done with those and then stick strictly to silver’s. Once silver’s give you back two 1500 req point cards every time you get one that means you have unlocked every thing at the silver level then move to strictly golds… Once folds give you back two 3000 point req cards every time that means you have everything and have to wait till the next update. To which you just save req points to build up a nice bank for the drop.

You’re only hurting yourself by skipping silvers. Four bronze packs are equal to one silver pack which means that there’s a chance that you can eight items for 5,000 vs the two that the silver packs give you. Now you won’t get an item from every pack but you should be able to also buy another bronze pack or two by selling most of the REQs you get from the five you’ve opened meaning a total of seven packs or fourteen items.

IF you want the most efficient and less risky way, buy all silver until Rare and below are unlocked, then move on two gold. Repeat this process every time new reqs are released. Sell everything that isn’t a booster for extra req points.
