What is the "pro jump"?

I have noticed in Twitch pro streams that they do a slide boost jump. Is this considered a “pro jump”. What is it and how do you do it?

In one of 343s’ videos they were giving out some Arena tips. One of these is to chain Spartan Abilities. An example of that is Sprint Slide Jump Thrust, Which is probably what you’re seeing. There is an actual “Pro Jump” though, you sprint off whatever you are on, Thrust, and then use the stabilizers while spamming the Clamber button. Using this jump you can go from Red or Blue spawn on Truth, to top mid.

Actually it’s:
Sprint → (Jump + Thrust) → (Smart Link + Hover + Crouch) → Clamber
or
Sprint → Thrust → Jump → (Smart Link + Hover + Crouch) → Clamber
PS: Don’t spam Jump to Clamber, hold it.

haha. Your close, but technically its more like

Sprint → (Jump + Thrust) → (Smart Link + (auto-hover || sprint-hover)) → (Crouch + Clamber)

What? That’s way overcomplicated, you can do it with a simple thrust jump. I’ve done it plenty.
