It only shows people online if you have them as a friend, but… they will show up in your friend tab anyway…
Some people might not have everyone in the company as a friend. this way, everyone in the company knows who else is in the company and not just a complete random

Not the case, it only shows friends from the Spartan Company, not the whole company. It seems like it should work as you suggested, or maybe I have been using it wrong this whole time.

It does show the whole company. Friends within the company are listed first, after that it goes in an alphabetical order which involves every company member.
You can add people, make new friends and spectate other members.

What if you don’t want to add the 100 people in your Spartan company because you only play with them in Halo. I don’t need to have everyone as a friend, maybe I’ll make one or two or more, who knows. I think if it’s going to be there, at least show us who is online

Yeah this threw me off too at first. I was starting to get pissed at my company cause apparently I was the only one doing anything haha. Luckily I figured it out, but I definitely think it should show you who’s actually online.
This is news to me, I assumed my company was all offline too. That’s weird they did it that way, I’m sure 343 would blame xbox live restrictions… Funny how xbox live after all these years has somehow become less reliable for it’s original use. Now if you want to watch some videos or movies, it’s got you covered.

I figured this out as well. Show us who’s online so we can play with them.
LoL I didnt know this… I was wondering why my company members all were … haha
So at this point, it is just an easier method to add your Spartan Company as friends… just click on their name and view profile instead of having to type in their name and search for them.
