I’m level SR-47 at the time of this post and nearing the use of my first specialization. From what I have heard is that when you get to SR-50, even though you get the specialization, it does you no good until you get through the next ten ranks to SR-60 till you get the mod for them. By then, you are already into another specialization. So why go through the next ten ranks if you get no use out of the one specialization that you are using? Yeah, you may look the part with all the armor and weapon skins, but looking and acting are two completely separate concepts so the specialization has no real use until after the fact. So I ask: What is the point?
The specialisations unlock in the tactical package area…so you can use it during your next one. Also, you unlock all of the stuff as you go through the 10 levels + there is a lower amount of XP needed once you specialise.
