So I got the Increased Strength which is a legendary armor mod and melee punches/shoulder charges are still a 2 hit to kill. So whats the point of using it?
Yeah that might make me want to not use it but it would help a ton in close range battles. I dont know how much more it does since i dont have it but just a light spray with smg and punch will kill people pretty fast so this could help speed that up. Even if i get this mod ill probably just stick to speed boost.

Makes sense. I was really hoping since it was legendary that it would turn into a one hit melee or shoulder kill. But that might be a little OP

I honestly don’t ever bother with it. I use Speed Boost 99% of the time, & the extra Splinter grenade that last 1% when the enemy team is going vehicle crazy.
Use it with bayonet weapons. Even on their own those don’t always kill, but it’s usually only by a very slim margin. Boosted melee strength all but guarantees that energy bayonets will kill any other Spartan with a single melee unless they’re using Overshield. Combine that with Active Camo use and slip behind an enemy position, you can wipe out an occupied armory or base all on your own with just melee if the enemy team is already under assault and trying to keep the rest of your team out. I’ve found that to be particularly lethal on Fortress from Stormbreak.
