So many people are hating on phaetons now, so lets try to think of what the new variant might do.
Imaginative stuff. Not just “oh lol it shoots faster and iz stronker!!1!”
But differences that would really make it worthwhile, like a gunner seat, or different boosting, etc
Whatcha think it’ll do?

It’ll leak it’s sickly-sweet juices all over the battlefield. It’s like a syrup in consistency, and a translucent orange in color. If you touch it, you get a little irritated, because now you have to fill out the paperwork that involves touching orange, sticky liquids. Green liquids require no paperwork, so friendlies on your team will see the Phaeton’s juices as a light green, like the inside of a cucumber.

It’s not really an interesting vehicle. None of the variants add much to the experience. What would be good is friendly vehicle spawning, which could change the game up a bit. That’s something I definitely have memories of from Reach.

You serious? I think the Phaeton is a hell of a lot more interesting than the Falcon. Falcon is…a helicopter. The Phaeton is a whining hawk made of pain.

I realized I spelled it wrong, it’s been corrected 
Would be cool having 2 thruster evades per cooldown, similar to the vorpal talon.
My bet would be increased armour and improved weaponry. Hopefully it’s not just the increased armour because that really would be pointless.

So fitting. At the very least, we should’ve gotten a Hornet, if not the Falcon. Phaeton is boring.
If the new variant can get hijacked or is vulnerable to the plasma pistol, then its crap regardless of what it can do. You’d expect Promethean technology to have defenses against primitive covenant technology.

Forerunners are/were a Tier 1 species
Covenant tech imitates Forerunner tech, so they are a Tier 2 collection of species. Fair enough, I’d say.
