What is the highest Rank in Onyx you can be???

I worked my way up all the way from Dimond to onyx 1804 but how far do i have to go to get into Champion???

I believe the Onyx ranking is from 1500-3000, and you need to be in the top 200 of that to be in champions

It makes perfect sense if you knew a thing about the system. Anything 200 and above is champion.

so theres nothing higher then a Champion?

There is no set number.

Only 200 people can be in champions at once so your CSR has to be higher than the 200th ranked player.

u can see the top 200 on halotracker website along with there “ELO ranking”. in almost all playlists champion is about 2000 rating. in swat its 1950 right now. so you are getting close…good luck

Well it’s not hard to find these people. Just look on waypoint at the game history of people who are champion’s division. Eventually you’ll spot the guys who are near the 200 spot.

so the 200th champion can get deranked by doing nothing if a high ranked onyx player gets a higher csr score, or an onyx player could become champion by doing nothing if one of the champions -Yoinks!- up and decreases his score below the onyx player…thats pretty funny if u think about it! l o l

I’m pretty sure it is the top 200 of Onyx rankings as stated above. I’m not entirely sure what the highest it goes is, but I’m pretty sure it’s 2500 or something.

I just hit onyx, and when it said I moved up after the next game, the number increased. So I guess that’s how it works?

Rank means absolutely nothing unless you are trying to go pro. I don’t get the obsession over it. I’m not hating, just saying.

It’s variable based on the playlist and increases throughout the course of the season. It also depends upon which playlist you mean.
