After rewatching the campaign overview I’m pretty sure the Harbinger is not forerunner which was my first thought. Could the Harbinger be precursor? Or is it something else entirely?
Same question. She looks a bit like a female elite, not a heretic perhaps?
Looked like a San Shyuum-Prelate to me. Don’t know why a Precursor would fight the Chief. They’re basically transcendent entities.

Not precursor because they chose humanity to be the future she contradicts this in her dialogue.
She looks mechanical and her silhouette is very like the wardens.
No idea what she is.

I honestly have no idea what it is, only that it’s possibly a new faction/species, and seems to be opposed to the Forerunners. Actually, I think it resembles the figure in the background of Divine Wind’s cover, a little bit.

It totally fits in with the description of their ancient warriors. Anti-grav suits + very agile.
so whatever she is, if the go back to the demo trailer months ago the Brute says “the Banished and the Harbinger share the same goal: to serve Atriox”. Why would she want to serve Atriox? Or why would she side with him???

The overall shape of the character is very similar to the Prelate on the cover of Devine Wind.

If I had to guess, she probably has an ulterior motive for siding with him and is likely playing him and the Banished for her own gain. It feels like they’re basically setting up a new main antagonist with this character so I doubt she’s just another follower of Atriox. The question I’m ready to find the answer to is what her end goals are. Ready for December 8!

Intrepid Eye because in the books she features in, she goes out of her way to assist Brutes and other alien factions.

The way she is presented makes me think that she’ll be revealed as the true big bad in the end, and the actual threat to chief and the UNSC

I’m pretty confident we won’t be seeing intrepid eye.

That’s a good point. Also in last light she declared the forerunners wrong about humanity and decided her new purpose was to either destroy humanity or make them truly worthy of the mantle. That would explain why she’s working with Atriox. And calling herself the Harbinger of Truth makes sense.

I think its a Prelate? I mean it looks really similar to one. I could be wrong though
