Playing a Campaign that is appropriately epic. I appreciated the change of pace ODST allowed for, but for me Reach was just too similar with even less interesting characters. I played Halo 2 recently, I had forgotten how awesome Halo could be, the weight of the universe on your shoulders, not the fate of a planet you already know the fate of.

I’m mostly excited to play the campaign. I can’t wait to pick up where Halo 3 left off, it should be one hell of a ride. :smiley:

Campaign, of course.

I miss the idea of exploring alien worlds, like in Halo: CE and Halo 2. I think Halo 3 and ESPECIALLY Reach focused too much on the war between humanity and the Covenant. That’s boring! Humans vs. Aliens have been done to death! I liked the intrigue of exploring alien ruins, piecing together the backstory of the alien culture, and fighting the Flood in a race to save the galaxy from their infection.

Okay, ODST had a good story, but I’d LOVE if 343 went back to Halo’s roots.

… with fun multiplayer, obviously.

Majority will do campaign… me? I’ll be geared up on soda, a few friends (separate Xbox’s in the same room), and our tradition we started with Reach: Who can beat the campaign on solo Legendary first?

Play the Campaign. But we all know the very first thing the majority of players on this website will do once they buy Halo 4. Log onto the forums and complain about it.

Most excited for multiplayer. Reach was a let down, I’m hoping Halo 4 can pick it back up.

well first i will go to forge and explore all the maps, vehcials and weapons there, then me and some friends will plow through campaing laso style, then maybe a little multplayer,

Press Start. Set up my profile and colors/emblems. Adjust the controls to match Halo 3/Reach Recon.

Start Campaign solo on Heroic.

run campaign with three friends. Hopefully it’ll be like reach in the sense that we take out custom spartans into campaign. I always loved that about reach. I used to spend hours just taking stills of the four unique spartans in battle.

Open up the game case.

Put the game disc on a wooden oak table.

Smash the disc into a fine powder.

Snort/inhale the powder substance.

Take the second disc copy. (I usually buy Legendary and Regular Editions)

Put it in the Disc Tray.

Boot up the game.

Watch the opening sequence.

Stare and gaze at the main menu until my excitement -Yoink!- goes away.

Adjust my Armor/Colors/Service Tag/ Species/Gender/Etc and beat my meat.

Set up graphics/Audio/Controls.

Slowly start campaign.

Then find something to complain about.

And come and rant on the forums like a fat hungry hormonal teen girl on her period…

I’m only kidding…

Campaign or Firefight is what i be in…

First I will stare at the case for maybe an hour or so and delve on whatever info I can muster from reading the back. When I open the case I will stare at it some more, while that “new” smell from opening a new game comes through my nose. I will then look at the manual (yes I read manuals when it comes to games I really care about), read through anything I can, and at any sign of a hint of a spoiler, I will close my eyes and turn the page. While I am doing this, Halo4 (the disc), will be getting installed on to my 360. Once I have had enough and Halo4 is succesfully installed, I will sign out of Xbox live (I do not want any interuptions what so ever), and I will not skip the intro(s) that lead to the main menu. Once I am at the main menu I will pinch my self several times to make sure I am not dreaming, once that is confirmed, I will stare some more jaw droped (perhaps) and eventually start looking through all the menues (campain, multiplayer, forge, theater, etc.) and everything else that there is. I will check my options and make sure it is put at inverted (y-axis) and take a deep breath, exhail and go start the campaign. I do not know if it will be on herioc or legendary yet, but I think it will very likely be herioc. After that, well who knows what will happen. Once I finish the campaign however, I will probably have tears at the tip of my eyelids, and jump into multiplayer, and forge.

  1. Play campaign fully (On heroic).

  2. Go to forge, test out each new weaponn and how they work (maybe with some friends)

  3. Use this new found knowledge to help in the beginning stages of mm matchmaking.

  4. Switch between playing coop on legendary, and mm matchmaking until halo 5 comes out :stuck_out_tongue:
