A simple question. Where does the DMR fall short, where other guns do not?
I’ve largely stayed out of the DMR OP vs not OP argument, but I’ve never seen anyone comment on its weak attributes.

It doesn’t.
All hail the almighty rape-machine, the DMR.
Same weakness as any other gun, any other weapon, or any other tool…
The one who wields it.
Hmm, the only weakness I can see is it being single shot. Every shot counts, and if you miss your dead. Just my .02.

That’s not a weakness of the gun, it’s a weakness of the player.
well you can try moving as much as possible since the dmr is harder to use at medium range
No weakness, all situation weapon
It falls short if the user doesn’t know how to keep a steady aim such as my self.
It falls short if someones assassinating you.
It falls short in most cqc scenarios but still stands a chance.
Its the halo 3 single shot battle rifle. Its op
The DMR doesn’t really have an equal at mid or long range (as far as non power weapons go). It’s only selectively useful in CQC, however. If you’re a support-style player you may find that you’re running out of ammo on larger maps sometimes, but by then you’ve likely picked up a BR/LR or called in an Ordinance by then unless you’re just foolish and horribly inaccurate.

No offense intended, but I don’t find any range limitations on this gun. It often will beat an automatic at closer ranges.
speed…the carbine can out match a dmr at mid range if the shooter is fast enough
slight longer mid range the dmr is unbeatable though even against the super scope LR
carbine can beat the dmr though with its speed
