What is the bronze, silver, gold method?

I’ve been trying to find ways to get more from my req packs and I heard of this method but it didt really explain it. I usually just open gold packs should I be doing something else?

Open silver packs until you no longer get any “permanent reqs” (armour or weapon/vehicle certifications, they show up in the first two items in the pack). After that start buying gold packs.

Silver packs cost 5000 and give 2 reqs = 2500 per unlock, where as gold cost 10k and also only give 2 unlocks so each unlock is 5000. If you buy gold packs now you’re essentially paying twice as much for the same amount of unlocks.

If you’re gonna run this plan, it’s also a good idea to keep notes of what you’ve unlocked/ have left to unlock (if you care to). It’s better than just buying blindly imo, if your goal is to unlock everything.

Just like Lange just said. The bronze, silver, gold method is opening bronze packs until you are refunded req points, silver packs until you are refunded, and gold until you are refunded. Just skip the bronze and start with silver. Just opening golds will double, maybe triple the amount of time to unlock everything.

Progressively go through the packs so that you unlock everything at the right price

Skip bronze and just open silvers until you get req points back. Then Gold. The only permanent unlocks associated with bronze packs are mongooses. You can circle back to bronze after you finish the gold grind.

Yes, I used to buy just gold packs but it was a big mistake. Open first the silver, so once they give you back 3000 rp it will be easier for you to have more boost for play and decent weapons.
Then If you go for more advanced buying reqs estrategies, left the packs they give you for free, like the gold and silver they give you for unlock condecorations. For example, the condecoration that they give you from master firefighter it gives you about 10 gold packs, so if you use this estrategy, buy first the silvers, then once you unlock everything from the silvers, buy the goldens. and once you have everything unlocked, open your packs, the ones they give you for condecorations and BOOM! You will have a lot of reqs, rare, ultra rares, legendaries and a lot for sell. This is one estrategy that people with multiple tags use and is the best I’ve found.
There are reqs that they give you more in silver and others that they give you more in bronzes. For example I love speed boost, so if I buy only silver and gold they give me very few, but if I go for bronzes, they give me about 80 for every 100 packs, This happen too with the carbines, but is less, like 40 for every 100 bronzes. Other estrategy is with the wasps, if you want wasp (and railguns Edit: whiplashes) buy the silver packs more than the gold.

There’s no need to take notes. The game tracks everything you’ve unlocked for you, as does Waypoint. Also, when you finish unlocking everything from a specific type of pack, such as silvers, you’ll get REQ points back instead of a permanent unlock so you know you can move on.
