what is the best way to grind req points?

I think the title is self explanatory, how do you grind req points?

Step 1: Fire up Halo 5
Step 2: Select a game type from either the Social, Ranked, or Warzone playlists
Step 3: Play game.
Step 4: Finish game.
Step 5: Earn Exp and Req points.

If you’re looking for the most req points earned per game played, Warzone Firefight at any difficulty is probably what you want.

I usually play firefight, so that should work good.

Also, you should have some RP boosts as well, throw one of those on and earn some more. Also, if you do some searching, there’s a google chrome extension out there that lets you sell you REQs in bulk, so you can earn REQs faster, I’ve used it a time or two… it’s pretty handy. But yes, playing, and, more specifically, playing firefight will be the best and faster way to get more RP bang for your buck.

I have that extension. The only reqs i have left are legendaries that i want to keep, like hannibal wasp and prophets bane.

I too did not use it for everything… only for most if my weapons (especially after i finished all my weapons comms). I need to do it again with all my rp boosts… but with no good reqs in the store right (to get with rp)… I’m not in a big hurry…

Unfortunately, I haven’t really kept track of Req Points (RP) payouts for different gamemodes. However, one recommended approach is to focus on using your RP as efficiently as possible in order to empty the pool of permanent reqs and get them replaced with a major req point return. When you have unlocked every permanent item that can be obtained from Silver Packs, you will instead get 3000 RP per opened pack and a similar thing can also be seen with Gold packs but they will return 6000 RP per opened pack.

In order to unlock the permanent cards as efficiently as possible, the main thing we need to minimize is the amount of req cards that you need to spend in order to get 1 permanent card. Both the Silver and Gold pack gives exactly 2 permanent cards which causes the following value of RP/permanent card for the respective req packs.

  • Bronze Pack: ? RP/permanent card - Silver Pack: 2500 RP/permanent card - Gold Pack: 5000 RP/permanent cardAs it can be seen, the Silver pack will effectively give out double the amount of permanent cards per req points spend compared to Gold packs. This means that the most effective method to spend RP is to open Silver Packs until they return 3000 RP per pack opened. Then, you should go with gold packs until they return 6000 RP per opened pack.
