Daily and weekly challenges.

You can’t farm challenges as you’re given a limited amount.

Why would you even ask if the game isn’t out?

They aren’t limited. It’s just you can only do so many of them at once. I’d still recommend doing them.

Some people like to plan ahead.

Devs has ben played every day.

I’d say for blitz is to 1v1 and rush them with Locuts

/Facepalm… that does make them limited lol. You’re limited to how many you have available every day/week/month. Therefore you can’t just endlessly farm them.

On topic, there’s no real telling. The XP system wasn’t in the first beta, so we have no idea what kind of yields to expect from normal game types. I’m going to go with firefight as my guess though, as AI are typically easier than humans netting consistent win bonuses.

If they were limited, it would mean that once you do them, they don’t come back. Like achievements. The challenges refresh daily and weekly respectively.

No, that would make them finite.

There is a limit on how many new challenges you’re given each cycle, thus they are limited. Are you seriously arguing about this?

Things that are finite don’t come back. If the earth runs out of natural gas, it’s not coming back. If a Halo Wars player beats all the daily challenges, they can wait 24 hours and they’ll reappear. The challenges recycle (meaning that you can get the same challenge multiple times), but they nevertheless come back. They are the opposite of finite. They are infinite. I’ll use a Star Wars analogy ('cause why not). If there is an army of clones, is there only one man, or hundreds of them?

And yes, I’m arguing about this. The quote in my bio reads: “Seek out argument and dispute for their own sake.”

I said finite towards your comparison of achievements, not the challenges. Achievements are finite, they can only be unlocked once.

If Halo wars players beat all the challenges, they cannot continue farming them that day, they are done, they have reached the limit for that day. Therefore they cannot be ‘farmed.’ Farming infers and endless grind, whereas the challenges are done in just a handful of matches. Any additional farming at that point would be fruitless as they have reached the limit.

Much more reasonable.

Not quite. I was disputing the usage of the word “limited.” You didn’t use that word in your last post. You said that endless grinding was impossible, which I agree with.

But I did use limit. If something has limits, it is limited. I also said in a post prior to that, that they were limited in the sense that once they were completed you couldn’t do any more for that day/week/month.

plz stop discussing limit, i want to stab myself

If a discussion on the word limit brings about masochistic desires, you might need a therapist. The national suicide prevention lifeline is 1-800-273-8255 just so you know.

a therapist could prob help me in some ways, but it seemed that no one would cease the incessant droning of that useless limit discussion except for you two nabs or my untimely yet pleasurable death
