Hey guys
I was thinking about all the hate that 343 get for basically anything they do to Halo, so I though maybe we should shine some light upon them (pls just this once) and stop being haters! Personally I think they have done some very good stuff with Halo, even if their games aren’t perfect. Personally I love the addition of the railgun as a weapon, I think it’s a really cool weapon to use. For maps I LOVE Haven from Halo 4 and feel that the Mercy remake is beautiful.
So tell me, what do you guys think? Any thoughts on good things that 343 have done with either maps, weapons or gameplay?

Forge is better than ever - Halo 4 had an excellent story until halo 5 backtracked everything that happened in Halo 4 - Halo 4 had some good maps like Exile and Haven - The gungoose - Halo 5 has a great weapon balanceNegatives :
Halo 5’s story which deserves a list of its own - The massive lack of support of community features in Halo 5 (releasing Forge and a File Share post launch and Theatre is still broken) - The massive lack of core gamemodes (KOTH, Oddball, Ricochet, Race, Headhunters, Juggernaut, VIP, Social slayer, Stockpile, Classic firefight) - -Yoink- art style. The Pelican, Rocket launcher and BR were fine the way they were so why did they have to change? - Trying to turn halo into a generic fps by adding in sprint, ads and thruster - Their incompetence on how to make a good halo game - Their stubborn attitude to try and differ from Bungie which only does damage to Halo. - Trying to make Halo for kids by toning down the blood, language and textures - They can’t make a halo story without confusing those who haven’t read the books and comic - They lied to us about halo 5’s story details in ‘Hunt the Lies’ - Relealsed MCC broken and haven’t fully fixed it yet - Refuse to bring back playable elites despite a huge outcry from the community - Chose 1080p and 60fps over splitscreen. FREAKING SPLITSCREEN!!! - At launch every arena playlist in Halo 5 was ranked. WTF?There are plenty of other reasons on why I hate 343 but here are the main reasons

Yes Locke and tanaka had potential but were executed terribly. First impressions count.

I liked Halo5 story,sure the misleading advertisment and the lack of Chief is an negative point.
The first impression is not as relevant as people believe.

Well me and a lot of people would beg to differ on your thoughts on halo Halo 5s story but it is your opinion. First impressions are not as important but I don’t think 343 can make these characters likeable due to the fact that a lot of people hate them. Even if fiesta was taken out it certainly isn’t new.

They dont need to make them likeable they need to make them acceptable.

The only thing I’m not that mad about on this list is the smart-link (ADS) and sprint… I know this isn’t the common viewpoint but I think it works. Everything else is spot on, especially how they basically re-developed the entire Halo 5 campaign in a matter of minutes before the launch…

Definitely the balancing is spot on, the AR can actually kill now.
