GI said it was one of the weapons they played with. what is it? my only guess is that it is the AR from reach because technically that is a different AR then the one in CE and h3 and that it will be the replacement for the smg. kinda like the m4 carbine and the m16 in real life the m4 is a little smaller and for more CQC while the m16 is for a little longer ranges and is a little bigger. is this possible because it is the only answer i could come to in my head. please tell me if i am wrong.

I actually think it will be a weapon made to fill the gap between the AR and the BR. Kind of like the silenced SMG from ODST but not silenced.
It is possible that the MA5K could be introduced into Halo4.
It could also be an internal name for the new MA5-?(AR) in Halo4 and it’s named so because the previous ARs were more like SMGs than they were ARs.
