Hello every one I’ve been here for about a year and I see one word show up more often then any other and that is Achilles What is it or Who are they, can someone explain this to me cause I don’t seem to understand it. I play Halo now and then but as much as I like cause I have been very busy and so I have trouble understanding certain things such as this Achilles, anyways anything will help and thank you Shadow Dragoness signing off.
It’s the armor set that ruined Halo 5 for me on several occasions. I finally got it, recently, on my third company. You just can’t trust random people to continue to play one game for such an outrageous amount of time, which is essentially what you have to do to get this armor set. I really hope this doesn’t return in Infinite…
Don’t listen to them. It’s really a secret alien that comes out of the map background to shoot lightning bolts at you after you run in tight circles for 5 minutes straight.

I don’t know if there was something special about it or anything tied to it in the canon lore or not. But I do know it’s one of the most stupidest armor sets (In ways to obtain it) ever implemented in the game. As something that is designed to alter the look of your personal character, you shouldn’t have to rely on 99 other people to obtain it.

I believe they implemented ti to encourage community building. I can say personally that i have made some IRL friends from the companies i have been a part of.

Yea, but all the companies I have seen are real aholes. You have to get on this many days a week. You have to play x amount of hours a day/week. So on and so forth. Failure to meet one of these points even just one time and you are kicked from the Company. I just rode out a Hurricane at work for 2 days and still don’t have power on at home. Some ahats want to kick me from a company because I couldn’t play because of that shouldn’t even be running a company.

That’s a pretty crazy. Well selfless plug for my company ((XP Junkies). All we care ibe at least 18, act like an adult, and just have fun and be active (basically rank in a playlist each month). Other than that, just enjoy the game 
I have see companies like that and just find it funny how much they push. K/D must 13.0 and log 10 hours of gameplay each day. Also be ranked Onyx in a minimum of 6 playlists lol

Yea, I don’t understand it. Playing games should be fun, not a chore…I mean, not unless you plan on being MLG and going to a tournament. But I don’t so I don’t expect to be have to play like I am preparing for a tournament just to stay in a company.

It’s the tendon at the back of the ankle, hope this helps
as far as we are in the life-time of the game, i would recommend to seek for a company near the helmet and then go for the armor. my opinion

That’s the way to do it at this point, unless you find an active company that has 90+ members and even then it takes a long time to hit the helmet

SC & achilles is one of the few things H5 did right. Seems like you just had a few bad experinces with some companies.

Join Legendary Achilles 2. LA1 got the set in just over 4 months. LA2 should beat that.
The armor you receive after grinding commendations with your spartan company. I’m actually glad they put it in it has helped me find a few friends and there is always someone down to play Halo… ALWAYS!

I’ve gotten it once already, working on my second rin through. We don’t grind, we just enjoy the game. Currently sitting at 81% complete

To every one thank you for your reply’s they have helped out a lot and it seems to be some what of a time consumer and more work than it’s worth however I won’t discourage or in any way put down those who wish to achieve such an armor. Cause if that is what you all seek then good luck to you all and may you gain that of which you seek here in the Halo Companies, as for those who don’t may you all find your own rare golden achievement in the universe of Halo.
