What is stopping 343 from putting S1 bundles on the store?

How is an abysmally slow shop that can only handle showing 4 things at a time and is restricted to the bundles introduced that season profitable in any way for 343? Do they just think showing people the same thing 3 times in a short time span will magically change their mind? Where is the financial benefit of completely ignoring all previous bundles once the season is over?

I just don’t understand the benefit or reason behind why they can’t do something as simple as giving us older bundles occasionally. It just gets to a point where it stops being FOMO and you just start refusing peoples money lol.

i wanna know why they didn’t go for a catalog system almost like mcc.

I bet they come during the free 30 Tier Reach Battle Pass after S2.

that also brings up a good question, why are they holding out on stuff like this, why wasn’t it available in the first reach pass?

I don’t know man. They seem to do things that make no sense yet expect people not to get frustrated.

They seem to be sticking to their season plans… regardless of delays… even as Season 2 continues to stretch for nearly 12 months.

It’s why the bundles a couple of weeks ago were Easter themed. In September.

If the S1 items / events were due for recycling in S3 or S4 it looks like we’re going to have to wait.

While I kind of agree, what part of this free BP was part of their plan (I get that it’s mainly just stuff they cut from what should have been a 120 tier pass).

I don’t understand the Easter theming either. Even if the BPs were on time, it seemed really late, no?

Yep. It’s weird.

I think the winter update (Season 2.5) is a bit different. It’s been created to give Infinite a bit of a boost over the Holiday period.

We will have a better idea of what their long term plans are in Season 3. If it ever happens…

Seriously, it seems they purposely dodge that topic. Like the entire Community wants a catalog store. No one likes their rotating store,. Ut they refuse to re work that thing to be what the players want

Who the heck knows

all I want is a scout helmet and that ace playing card helmet attachment. I would honestly buy both if they popped up

I’m looking for the Mister Chief AI myself.

343 should know the answer

I’ve wondered the same. If the shop is to stick around, it would be far better to have a catalog, including things from Yoroi and Entrenched. Perhaps have sales on a rotation.

This is, of course, if the Shop is to stick around. I don’t think Microsoft will let it go entirely, especially almost a year later, but one can hope.

FOMO

They want to train you to always check the store because once something’s gone it might be gone forever~

If they brought something back, it createss less urgency to buy.

That’s good cause I refuse to give 343 money cause it’ll be a total waste, I want to earn credits more than XP. I’m getting bored with Infinite cause I get nothing but one lousy ultimate reward, sorry 343 no money snatching from me in a million years.:yum:

My best guess is that they want to avoid angering the same entitled people that bought shop items when they were at their original price, which were lowered after feedback, and demanded refunds.

There was this one man that made a whole post on here arguing to get reimbursed for things he bought at a price he agreed to. Thankfully, he ended up being a minority of people that thought they should be refunded, the post ended up with like 800+ replies, mostly with people against his idea.

I don’t know, but whatever it is, it isn’t FOMO because if it is they’d have brought them back so people can… buy them. I literally don’t know why they won’t bring back S1 content.

Maybe 343 doesn’t even know at this point.

It 100% is FOMO, because fear of missing out is just that, get it before it’s gone.

I’d say that’s a “Buyer Beware” thing, myself. I mean, if someone buys something at full price and it goes on sale a week later, or gets discounted to where it’s almost free, that certainly sucks but… That sucks. Personally speaking, I spent $20 on the Zvezda armor (have my reasons) but if it went free tomorrow… Gotta say I wouldn’t really care. It’s better going forward.
