So can people here tell what is so good about the Sprint ? And please do it as constructively as possible.
Do not use buzzwords like: you dont like it then dont use it, it makes me faster, spartans should be able to sprint coz lore, you want Halo 3.5, immersion, go play MCC, Halo has to evolve etc. Those do not add anything to your arguements, but give lazy and ignorant viewpoint about your arguement.
Yes for the record I am against Sprint in Halo, but I am curious to know what people like about it ? Why should it be or stay in Halo at all ?
it gives me an easy target to kill in swat
Pressing that 1 button to sprint really immerses me into the game.
/Sarcasm
I think it needs to go. Breaks the flow on most maps and its just another pointless button to press instead of focusing on shooting.
What is so good about the no sprint?
Not having sprint in the game slows it down and thats not how it should be.
I think Verizon is way better than Sprint.
It’s an understandable urge people want to get where they wanna go and they wanna get there fast. Unlike the older halos where you couldn’t sprint but it had amazing maps. When people can rapidly change their speed they have to make the maps bigger to compensate for it. O your not actually going faster it just feels like it.
This thread is so laughable… haha haha. Says he wants to know why players like sprint but then list a bunch a stuff people can’t say… hahaha seems legit… tell me why you like this but you can’t use this as why…
SMH…

Becouse those reasons are just a bunch of buzzwords that add nothing contructive to the discussion.
It’s as simple as this - modern FPS games these days are expected to have sprint. That’s the main reason it’s in Halo these days. This was mentioned in their GDC talk about spartan abilities.

Tell me why pizza is so good but don’t say because of cheese, pepperoni, sauce or the crust… hahaha
Because it allows me to access area’s faster, with sprint but unable to shoot, or slower yet gun ready. Because it makes the game flow feel quicker and less sluggish. So you don’t have a hate conga of people walking the identical move speed chasing eachover like you did in older games.
Why you delusional people keep complaining about something that is going to be in halo whether you like it or not is beyond me. It’s here to stay, so put up or shut up.
I am impressed by the Waypoint community’s uncanny ability to come up with new and entirely original topics of discussions.

I know right. If there was only a way to play the original games without sprint on Xbox one…
people hate sprint because it plays like cod
other people love sprint because it plays like cod
halo5 ; Call of Duty infinite warfare are twins

So please, stick to the already open Sprint topics. The Search Bar with the word “sprint” in it should help find a few.

You should tell that to the person who started what is very redundant sprint thread.
