I honestly want to hear what people have to say. The campaign wasn’t worse, in my opinion the levels were much better and the story telling was amazing. The only “downside” to it was that it wasn’t about Johns story, so people say it’s not as good because it’s not the central theme. I believe it surpasses halo 3 and ODST’s campaign, not halo 2 or 1 though.
As for the multiplayer, I’ve always been more of a competitive player (MLG and all that). So name anything about that at least. What do you really think is worse about Reach MLG than Halo 3’s? I guarantee it takes more skill. I was around a 48 in MLG in 3 and Reach is much harder in MLG…
In halo 4 I think there should be a combination of AA’s and equipment. Not sprint or anything like that. Almost equipment with ammo instead of charge or single use… what do people think?
Equipment “Strays” from the classic halo feel as much as AA’s do I don’t see why people complain. And some of the best customs have been made with AA’s, name one good thing to come from equipment.
> So why should halo 4 not be like reach in any way but like halo 3? Equipment is even worse than AA’s and they can’t even be put into custom games as well.

What, with the majority of NOBLE being one dimensional, stereotypical characters, and with a story that doesn’t properly begin until the final levels?
It most certainly wasn’t a culmination of 10 years working on Halo games. Numerous levels were a poor-man’s version of what had come before. I don’t they pushed themselves hard enough with the design, especially considering this was their last Halo game. Also, after reading the novels based on the event in question, I guess I just had too much expectation regarding the story.
Obvious lock, thread movement, and flame war is obvious
O.T. halo 3 and reach were both good but halo 3 felt a little tiny bit more fun and balanced, it is not that reach is bad and an abbomination but in mine and others OPINION halo 3 is slightly better in whatever reason people think
err… well Reach seems kinda fun to me for some reason… it was my first halo game XD (there I said it!), but then I played halo 3… and noticed quite a difference… For some reason halo 3 just felt smoother to me and easier feeling :3…

Reach didn’t have the emotion required; It needed more brutality. The timer should have been “fried” it should have been a suicide grunt near the bomb a Jorge “kicks” you out at the last second, something less cheesy, more tragic. It also lack the escape feel, that is the iconic ending the vehicle run away and the just made it out feel.-(3x in ODST.) I loved ODST. Felt more true, just needed 3 more people who are killed in the story. Lacked brutality.
2)I don’t really care about MLG, but the Reach style should be an option, neither forced nor cut.
More AAs with more control on the usage, and only in the “Reach” playlists (A set that is Reach’s current options)
4)YES!
Personal opinion, import Reach’s armory as the basic armory for 4 what you earned in Reach transfers over, than 343i makes all new stuff to add. Although attachments could use an overhaul more decorations, any item for any piece.
Reach had the opportunity to tell the life and eath of the Spartan’s on Reach as they died to protect it. Instead they decided to have 5 mundane characters, that all die a -Yoink- death (Apart for Jorge, that was a heroic death).
A multiplayer where Spartans are stronger, better weaponry and faster. Elites are taller, weaker, have awful weaponry (Plasma Repeater has nothing on the AR, needle Rifle is far weaker than DMR).
Then we have the Armour abilities that were just bull–Yoink-. I only ever chose Sprint, as that was the only AA that i didn’t feel I was cheating by using.
> All opinions other than noble 6 being one sided. that’s true.
Noble 6 is a fictional Spartan, he was just there so the player can play as a Spartan.
Jorge was the only Spartan I liked. Not just because he was the only Spartan II on the team, and friends with John. It’s because he had a heart, and cared what happened.
Emile was just an -Yoink–hole.
Carter was a Cynical, close-minded fool.
KAT was killed off in the saddest way I’ve ever seen anyone die…Even Grunts died with more dignity.

that s technically impossible. halo: Reach and halo 4 don’t use the same engine, thus, importing would be almost impossible. (unless of course halo 4 had the same armour perms and just placed them on your Spartan with the new modelling in place.
But I’d hate it. I don’t want Recruits running around with items that cost 2,000,000Cr (which won’t be a feature in 4).
halo 4 needs to be a clean slate, and not do ANYTHING reach did, but work on and improve from what it’s CANONICAL prequel did.
