About the Firefight update… What is this NEP (New Enemy Progression) you speak of? I thought it was just different waves of enemies, but for some reason, my delusional friend thinks the AI have been updated to be far more smarter…and stuff. I know that’s not true, but it’s got to be something…
If it was mixed up enemy variations in different waves, wouldn’t BS Angel have said ‘we’ve mixed the enemies up a little.’ instead of announcing this mysterious NEP system thing?
Well, one thing they could be doing is reducing the number of Elites, Brutes, Hunters, and Skirmishers to make things easier. I think that due to the difficulty scaling up, they should give 110 damage, speed, damage resistance, and shield and health recharge rates.
I had assumed that the squads that form up waves would be mixed up. Like the Generals/Chieftans that appear in the final wave of a round can now spawn at any time. Don’t know whether that will extend to Heretics, perhaps random squads appearing throughout.
