I want to unlock the air assault helmet (normal)so I want to know if it is more effectiv buying normal or silver req packs?
Silver will give you a greater chance compared to Gold as you get 2x the amount of permanent unlocks by getting 2 Silvers.

Gold makes no sence becaus it only unlook rare and higher req but also thanks for the moment I will use silver packs

No gold will give you common on up unlocks.
That’s why ever guide on req will tell you to hit bronze then silver then gold.
So, if one were interested in acquiring more permanent req unlocks, silver is the best option?

Yes, simply because you can get more unlocks without grinding too long
Bronze does not guarantee you unlocks. Stick with Silver until all of your commons, uncommons and rares are finished. Then move onto Gold.
Bronze > Silver > Gold. 4 bronze for 1 Silver and 2 silver for 1Gold. Be warned though, because the Bronze pack won’t always give a permanent.

Yeah go with silver, i grinded forever with bronze
I used to push for gold reqs in the hopes of getting the Mk IV armor. Now I double up on silvers to whittle down the odds. Plus, legendary reqs still pop up in silver packs.

I always go for silver packs. Gold pack were not that good to me last time I tried.
