What is going on with the Halo Channel, its to be basically a dead platform, with no alternative other than using the website on mobile devices. It’s still got Halo Wars 2 on the main page, and all of the terminals and other videos that link from the MCC are a buggy, laggy mess. It had so much potential, but it almost seems as if it’s being used for a games launch, then a month or two latter, it’s forgotten. Why not at least link the lastest development updates on it?
I suspect 343 have a lot of other things going on like MCC fixes/updates and building Halo Infinite.
Halo Channel is a weird concept anyway, if I wanted to see bonus content, the last thing I’d want is an ‘app’ on the Xbox.
Yeah I think it’s dead. Nothing has been updated in forever so I don’t expect anything in the future.
Maybe with planned redesign of Halo Waypoint they will reintroduce the Waypoint app to show your stats across all titles and hell throw in a dedicated forum browser.
I hope they come back to the Halo Channel and have it undergo an entire overhaul. I mean they overhauled the MCC so in future maybe just after Infinite’s release they’ll completely overhaul it.
The Halo Channel has so many possibilities, such as showing your stats (mentioned above by someone else), or other things like viewing terminal clips, maybe Spartan Ops videos (which are linked through the MCC right now to the current Halo Channel), and many other things that could be fantastic for the fanbase. 343, please.
#FixHaloChannel anyone?

That would be a solution, assuming they don’t just choose to leave it for dead again a year after launch.
I enjoyed the Halo Channel when it was a thing although I felt it lacked a lot of good content. But at this point it’s been since 2016 that 343 has done any updates.
I think all the concepts of the Halo Channel should be absorbed into Waypoint at this point. The original Halo Waypoint was one of my favorite original Xbox apps. It’s where we saw things like The Return and Mona Lisa.

Yeah that original app was cool. I remember trying for the challenges to unlock armor as well.

I also liked during Halo 4 the little Decoding thing that gave you extra EXP. And those cool medals they had for getting achievements.

Yeah, it was great having all those additional secret extras you could unlock .

This has always been my favorite period of Halo, right around H4. Just like the shorts, there was the glyph system of unlockables, etc, the weekly Forward Unto Dawn. Waypoint seemed like an interactive aspect of the games.

I have it on my phone. It’s pretty smooth too. I guess it determines how old ur phone is. But yes at least give some updates to it. I mean it does have the Infinite trailers on it.

Yeah, but I guess no one was using it as much.

You even unlocked a special armor doing it. I think it was Raider or Rogue.
