I seriously don’t know what it is. Am I being dumb because it is actually in reality matchmaking, or is it something else?
It’s a free-to-play multiplayer for PC in Russia.
Halo online is a Free-to-Play online halo game exclusive to Russia. It contains variations of the same weapons and essentially is the CoD Halo that everyone said Halo 4 is.
A game for the russians players.
A Halo Game with aspects of all the Halo games combined into one, large multiplayer game. The game was created for the intentions to only be in Russia however it has been leaked into other countries with difficulty. The game itself is completely free and contains tons of maps, whether they are returning maps, modified maps, or completely new maps. There are also weapon scope and skin customizations which look fricking SICK!
It’s a way for Microsoft to annoy US Halo fans who have gaming PC’s.

Yeah because they know we’ve been waiting for almost 10 years now for another Halo PC game. It finally is announced, and what do you know? Russia exclusive. I mean, come on. Why?
Also, double posting is considered bad etiquette, triple posting more so, and quad posts…are a bit ridiculous. You could get in trouble if you’re not careful. Just FYI

You all know the publisher makingn it is Saber Entertainment. Basically 343I Russia right. It would only be smart to host the “Closed Beta” in its own country right? So that way they can gather information clearly and cleanly.
Another reason they chose Russia is that Russia has been confirmed as THE biggest PC gaming community in the world. But they pirate all their games for Copy right laws do not exsist in Russia as they do here in the US. So making a F2P with Pay 2 win Micro Transactions is the best model for Russia after seeing how well the CoD version is doing in China at the moment.
But word is that because it has become highly successful in Russia. That they are about to release the Beta into Europe itself and see how it does there.
Now here we are in America. It has been proven that the F2P/ Pay 2 win model is not highly successful. (Req packs in Halo 5 ARE NOT PAY TO WIN, get off your high horse and research before you start sprouting claims that say different) So they are going to have to tackle it a different way for the American market. Also they need to make it so it doesn’t drive away sales from halo 5, so you may see it getting released here about a year after Halo 5. But you never know
I wonder how Putin feels about all of this.
It’s a free to play Halo 3 based game for the PC, currently it’s restricted to russia, but it’s pretty possible that they open it worldwide anytime soon
