I have heard a lot about Grifball coming to halo 5 but I am not quite sure what it is. I think it’s in halo reach but I am not sure either. It seems fun. What is it.

Assault in a wide open generally blank arena. Everyone has GravHammers and an Energy Sword. The bomb is in the middle and whoever picks up the bomb turns orange like Griff in the popular machinima Red vs Blue. Bomb carrier gets a slight speed boost and pretty much dies in an explosion as soon as he plants the bomb.
It’s pure ecstasy.
A whimsical mini-game that is boring after the first time you play it. 12 year olds who think Red Vs Blue is the pinnacle of comedy love Grifball only because it was featured in the machinima.

Griffball is essentially neutral assault set in a map similar to a soccer or basketball court, with the bomb in the middle. Both teams spawn with just a gravity hammer and an energy sword, with fast base speed. The person holding the ball is typically colored orange in honor of the game’s namesake, Grif. Round based, the point is to deliver the bomb into the opposition’s goal.
Friendly Fire is enabled and it usually just ends up in 100-betrayal spawncamp fests by the end.

Unless you’re playing with Grifballers, then it’s serious business.
And removing Friendly Fire from Grifball would be a horrible, terrible idea. Please no one suggest it.

Grifball is one of my favorite things in Halo. I’m getting very impatient waiting for it.

is oddball even in halo 5, if it isn’t the game sucks officially, no argument it just does.
