I have recently heard about all of this H4 footage getting leaked and I just want to know why someone would do that. I also actually heard something about microsoft not allowing non partnered channels with them not being able to upload walkthroughs of games like H4 and then already released games that were made by them. So is this due to those leakers or something else. I was actually thinking about a youtube channel and start uploading videos when I got the equpiment but is now tough due to this. Please help with details.
Microsoft is being REAL tight on the whole thing and I don’t blame them, some people stole a copy of Halo 4 and leaked it to the internet, Halo 4 Follower even posted a video that got striked by Microsoft.
Someone even streamed the WHOLE campaign

Some people illegally aquired copies of Halo 4, and then started posting entire leaks of things like campaign missions and pivotal cutscenes. Microsoft is cleaning it all up swiftly. Leaked videos are taken down.
I never understood why people deliberately spoiled games. To annoy people, to show off that they have it, to have a run-down with Microsoft… I dunno.

I don’t see WHY someone would steal a copy and stream the hole game. This is one of the most hyped games of 2012 next to Mass effect 3 I know halo fans and a lot of people who are interested in How chif gets back, why the elite are now the bad guys again and were is this all gonna go. This stuff is why I got Microsofts new TOA and why they said in the TOA it was still ok to post MP videos.
I thought I heard they said we could not post footage of already released games. Does this make sense? I don’t expect this to stay long because many people might go on strike. I don’t want to see that pressure put on Microsoft. Thankfully, I like Microsoft and just hope they do the right thing.
Halo 4 Follower simply thought there was another video release. He just looks to update the community and share information not spoil it, he took the video down, Microsoft is aware and addressing the situation

OP, if I were you, I’d stay away from YouTube for a bit until Microsoft has cracked down on the videos that are popping up everywhere. The original leak came from someone who streamed campaign gameplay late Friday night, to which others recorded and uploaded the video all across YT.
If you do chance across a video, report it to to the waypoint team so they can take matters into their own hands. Unfortunately someone recorded H4F’s leak-which is now down. but his label is now slapped all over the latest leak video that was uploaded a couple of hours ago.
