What is going on with Reach lately

Yesterday I was playing like I normally do and all of a sudden I kept lagging out. I lag out so much that I got the quit ban. Today arrives and again I keep lagging out and I keep getting the quit ban. Now I am connected wireless, but I have had this setup from the start (about five months now) and have had no problems like I have experienced today and yesterday. So I decided to take my xbox 360 downstairs where I wired it and went to play a game with a friend and apparently lag out again for I got the quit ban again. How the hell do you lag out when you are wired to the internet and not wireless or does the server not know who actually lag out so both players get punished? Not only that but whenever I am in a party with my friends it keeps saying that they are leaving and coming back into the party when in reality they never left. Has anyone else been experiencing problems like this and if others are then what is being done to fix the problem. I am sorry but with all the advances we have in communications and technology that there is no excuse for this to happen especially has the years go by we rely on the internet and wireless communications for more and more of our daily needs.

Reboot you router and/or modem too.

If your PC’s are also having any issues, and the reboot doesn’t help, call your ISP and get someone who knows what they are doing to run a diag and pull the stats/logs on their gear.

Thanks I did the re-boot thing so I guess I have to call my provider which is Comcast/Xfinity which are very reliable or one would hope so since they are one of the biggest internet providers in the United States.

If someone starts playing or streaming videos on the PC while you’re playing, or if someone is downloading torrents, or even if your neighbors started piggy backing and doing these things you’ll experience exactly what you’re describing.

I would say that it truley is your internet connection, and from what I know intricately from comcast, they have issues.

At times they spikes in their usage and rely on a shared based internet system, so when a load of people get on the shared bandwidth decreses, thus your laggy. You wont notice it only on games where a shared connection is important.
