Sorry if this question has been alredy answered, I’ve been out this week playing all the Halos in Order so I haven’t really used the PC (Just for FUD Ep. 4).
Anyway, in the past Bulletin, we got deeper on the Forge objects and that stuff. Something that I noticed while reading (sure a lot of people noticed this too), is that it looks to be a new gametype called “Extraction”.
According to it, Extracition has some “Targets” which are Extraction Crates; Small, Medium and Cylinder. What it could be? I mean, its named Extraction, so we have to extract something or what? It’s obviously a Objective-Based gametype… maybe for BTS… but what it could be?
If the showed us Flood and Dominion (which are BIG multiplayer surprises)… that means that Extracion is a Big enough surprise to keep it on secret?

I saw some guys on NeoGaf talking about it awhile back. Apparently nobody has any idea what it is at this point. Here’s hoping for another gametype.

I hope that they don’t say even a word about that Gametype until the game’s release. I want some surprises on the Multuplayer too.
I’ve seen something that I think is Extraction, it looked confusing to me but what I got from it is that when you do something to those Extraction Crates; Small, Medium and Cylinder Some objects are Extracted from the map, hence the name Extraction but other than that I don’t have Clue.

I’m pretty sure it has something to do with a brand new Game type. It’s on the list with other Objective stuff like Flag Capture Plate and King of the Hill capture zone. It would be could that it involves some kind of evacuation-zone, I dont know…

When thet said scratch that itch, they wasn’t talking about Elites, but Invasion. Elites are not coming back, deal with that.

You don’t own the game. The game owns you.
It’s literally exactly what it sounds like. You have to “extract” crates around the map.
Dude that’s awesome if it’s true.
What would be even better is if there was a second stage (like Invasion kinda) where if the spartans made it to the Pelican, Banshees would spawn, allowing the Elites an opportunity to shoot down the Pelican before it escapes. And the Pelican would be flown by one of the players and there would be a turret for another player to defend the Pelican.

Who knows what happeneds after that. I only spawned in the game type with the spartan and the pelican on the other side. Need other players to play it haha
