For everyone out there complaining about basically everything (especially anders and her abilities) being OP And 343 if you’re listening to any of that I have some news for you.
Every stratagy has a counter (yes even the ability that allows sentinels to spawn from siege turrets and codiacks) and you just need to learn from the games you loose.
What is actually OP;
Scouting.
You can know what the enemy is producing and what their echonomy is, at any point in the game??WHAAAT??!!!??!!
Teamwork (in anything other than 1s)
You can actually coordinate with your teammates and beat those that don’t way easier??? No way!!
Whats op is that I can even download the update it has froze 3 times now. on my 4th try when it seemed to be working it froze at 2.75GB ARHHHH I HATE WINDOWS STORE ;(((((((((((((((

Only thing that was OP are Sentinels. Also, just because something can be countered doesn’t mean that it isnt OP.
Ex: Tanks were OP in Halo Wars 1 because after they got canister shell they essentially had no counter until someone got Cobras (which get stomped by anything that isn’t a vehicle) or Beam Hunters (which takes a while to get en masse).
Likewise, Sentinels are OP because at the 4-5 minute mark their counters aren’t quick enough or in large enough numbers to deal them any serious losses before they destroy your base in 20 seconds. Btw, this is regardless of scouting.
Well as a mostly forge player I would say everyone is op… thanks for the nerf.
Seriously though leader power wise the big nuclear blast that the banished do is OP as all heck. I just had a full health base have every supporting building destroyed by ONE of those blasts. I dont know if he was at max tech for that blast or what but it took out EVERY building on that base. That is insane.

Even full anti air units will majority of the time lose to sentinels,get off your high horse…they are too fast and only count a little bit towards population

Lol, well that’s just plain wrong so, lol? I honestly don’t know if you’re trolling or just repeating what you have heard but a full pop of anti-air does indeed wreck a sentinel army. Test it with a friend, you’ll see

You are arguing that scorps can’t be countered earlier game (when they get canisters) and transfering that argument to sentinels in wars 2. Your initial argument on wars 1 might be right but in no way is it right in wars 2 let me explain.
Cobras are indeed a tech 3 (mid-to late game) unit and cannot be built early enough to counter scorps early and even mid game most of the time sure.
Marines are a tech 1 from your base unit that can also be upgraded from your base. They also happen to be a weak counter to sentinels. So, If you turtle with an army of marines at your base then the sentinels rush well… the sentinels get wrecked, even if they attempt to withdraw they will still sustain, massive damage. also they would get even more wrecked if you built turrets. By the time they realize they can’t push on your base with sentinels you have time to get enough wolves out to counter them and you can upgrade fortifications to make your buildings and turrets stronger and add anti-air to your turrets. Now you can continue the match with the upper hand.
Also are you trolling? if you scout properly you can see this coming and prepare as stated above for it…

lololol XD Yeah, they did nerf him but I have seen videos of him still being viable. I’d check those out if I were you!
I also have to agree with you there, eradication is at least a bit OP.

Notice how I also said that their counters aren’t quick enough. That applied to hard as well as soft counters. Sentinels lap Marines and can literally just circle around a base even if you have enough to deal them serious damage. Play an Anders, build Marines and see how they swirl around your base. It’ll look something like the scene from Matrix: Revolutions where the Machines invade New Zion, I promise you.
Sentinels also fly twice as fast as Banshees (which also beat sentinels straight up) and are still able to lap anti-air. How is that not OP?

Ok, I admit their speed is a bit OP.
But your argument now could be applied to any air unit… I don’t care just how fast sentinels are if you split your army to two sides of your base and have at least three turrets you’d be fine. Take it from a real sentinel rusher.

It is quite insane, but it is also 800 power. Pretty hard to amass that many resources unless you already have an army with which you’re controlling the match.
