What is acceptable?

So I have a dozen maps that I haven’t published (and most are unfinished), because I fear they won’t be accepted for my creative style. In aesthetic it looks just as well built as other people’s accepted maps, but I like to add an element to every map that makes it unique, so it’s not the same 3-lane, braindead map that happens in other games. I have one COMPLETELY done called Finality, and another called Firebase Dante’s Doom (didn’t post part III story because no-one cared)

Finality has a thick, fast moving fog as part of the stormy weather, and a unique weapon made for a Mini-game. But I have never seen a map with heavy fog, or unique weapons. Would they disqualify the map because of these things?

On Firebase Dente’s Doom, the naming is unlike most maps, and the Gloom filter has never been used, the shape is not 3-lane, and there is a unique weapon. I feel it would be a fun map for FFA/Infection/Oddball, but it may be too unique for acceptance

Help me people, what is allowed? How far can I go?

While I don’t have much experience with this kinda stuff, what is the goal of this map and any modes used with it? Custom Games? Multiplayer submission?

If its for multiple submission, these threads might be helpful as they say what to have for the maps:
BASIC MAP REQUIREMENTS
ACTION SACK
Action sack might be old and I can’t remember if action sack is on rotation. The basic map thread applies to all maps in all modes.

If its for custom games, then just play it with friends or put it on the browsers. If you want feedback, just message the people what they thought of it or try and get a group together for the purpose of testing.
