I just don’t get it

No. It’s someone who tries to overjustify bad game modes/mechanics.

Someone that plays above their head. Someone that thinks that every playlist is an mlg try out, even the social ones. Someone that pulls out legendary REQs in Warzone assault. Stuff like that. But mostly its just said about a better player out of frustration.

I’ve never been foaming at the mouth over a halo game. But this halo surely makes me a tryhard.

What’s wrong with that? REQs are there to be used, there’s no rules as to when you can use them!

well this is coming from the opinion who takes the time to get to know all kinds of people so I’m describe all norms I know so far.
A Try hard is a class of gamer that goes above and beyond to get a win. Almost close to no life a game.
but to be fair there’s try hard than there’s MLG try hard and MLG try hard is the one that most people are thinking about when they talk about try hard.
Mlg Tryhards well they use Tactics like base rushing, spawn trapping, and Heavy suppression. which are all tactics that don’t work and don’t affect the rules or the laws made by the creators and but at the end of the day it is still bad sportsmanship.

Tryhard is generally used to describe people who take the game far too seriously. They care more about their stats then whether they’re having fun. They spend an inordinate amount of time looking up strategies and exploits. They often try to tell you how to play the game, because playing their way is the only way that counts. Basically anyone who whines about K/D and/or their clan for more than 5 minutes. Anyone who thinks they are MLG or A pro is likely a tryhard.
In a related matter, Noob is a reference to someone who is new to the game and hasn’t mastered the basic mechanics. It is not someone who is bad at the game.
I just looked in the mirror, yup I think I’m both. Is that possible? I’m not good but I do try hard to win. But then K/D score 
noob.
