I have been playing halo for a long -Yoink!- time and not once have I heard of a raid. I have recently seen it being used and I’m intrigued. However I cannot find a single proper -Yoinking!- explanation on what it is. The closest I have gotten is that it happens a lot between clans. So if anyone would be willing to give me some answers I’d be very happy. I dont care if I have to read a childrens book or a -Yoinking!- game of thrones series to understand, I just wanna know pls. PLS.
In Halo 4, it’s essentially a “group” of people searching together. Examples would be a full-team of 5 searching in CTF, or a full-team of 4 searching in Team Slayer.
Actually a clan raid is when one clan joins another clans custom game where they are on a base that they made and from there its a battle to take over the base. At the end if the clan who joined makes the other clan quit then they have won the raid and the base is now theirs
Well Floozy was close. A raid is when one clan joins anothers custom game on the enemy clans base. Now its not about making one clan quit, its about assassinating the enemy clans leader or highest ranking officer. Once you assassinate the enemy clans highest ranked officer you win. Now you have to prove it which is easy with theater mode. Hope this explains it for you.
Being the awesome guy that I am I asked the mlg association for official raid rules.
These are the Official MLG Raid Rules, and Standards
- Whichever team reaches 150 kills on anyones score that team will be declared winner.
- Teams must start 8v8 people
3 Both sides must have 3 people on each side at all times if there is less than 3 you have 5 min to find another or the team with the most is declared the winner.
4 If more than half the lobby lags out the raid is canceled and there is no declared winner. - The attacking team must control the base for 30 minutes meaning the attacking team must search, and kill everyone in base before the timer for attacking team to take the base starts.
- No initial spawns in the base.
- No excessive kill zones.
- No bottomless clip.
- No Game Mods.
- No AFK Players if you have an AFK player then you message them and say the must playin the next 5 min or there getting kicked from the game.
- No kicking active Players.

Stopped right there because that’s not an “official” thing
Agreed with Ryan.
Hey Master Chief, who exactly did you ask?
> Snip
I’ve never heard such a load of bupkis in my entire life.
You sure those are “official” rules or just your personal preference because from what I’ve seen MLG doesn’t have official rules for Halo 4 because they dropped it from the circuit ages ago.
^
Not one of those rules looks plausible at all.
Message your AFK players?
Hahahahahaha…
Lel msg afk people…HA
someone needs a new player for company?, I recently recover my gamertag xD
Please don’t revive very old topics thanks
