WTF Man…
Where is the ban hammer? There is way too much cheating going on. halo4 has ben out for only 2 months. With in the 2nd week of halo 4’S release there has been alot players out there using hack and mods. Lag switching and stand-by and this new mod the goes by the name of aim bot. There are countless videos on youtube on how to mod weapons,melee,bullet damage on halo 2,3,4 and reach, countless vids of players using these mods in game! halo reach was the worst I’ve seen people cheat. THE SAD PART is THAT PEOPLE PAY TOP DOLLAR FOR MODDED HARDWARE(controllers & systems)AND HACKS.
The part that bugs me the most is that these mods,hacks,etc are making these cheater unbeatable. there was a time when cheating didnt make you a better player
now it does… when did that happen

I dunno what you’re seeing but the worst offenders I’ve seen are maybe a couple afkers.
Aim bot is kind of built into the game.
Don’t know about the other stuff.
The only mod I’ve ever seen was on GTA and some guy had pretty much God’s shotgun. I mean this thing was a storm of bullets with no end in sight. It was quite the free roam that day.
But yeah all I ever see is AFKs and the occasional team spawn off the map annoyance. You got bad luck brother.
You’re either exaggerating or simply don’t know what you’re talking about. In all my games of Reach/H4 I have never encountered what you’ve described. Not to mention if they did bring this stuff online they would be detected right away and permabanned.
Ever since my first match on Crimson, I’ve seen alot more BS.

Dude i so know what u r talking about…i see most of the cheeters in the swat game type…they will ues aim bots and they somehow activate shealds and ruin thw game for all the other people in the game…i also think that the guys who have replied might be the people cheeting…this game is fantastic but its fckers like you guys that fck it up for everyone else

Do you even know what an aimbot actually is (besides the one the game shipped with).

I remember when those guys hiding in the walls on flood. I’m glad that’s fixed. Damn that was funny as hell.
Aims bots are nothing new they have been around for the past couple decades… anyway I haven’t ran into any hackers in the past few years! The auto ban hammer system is really good at catching these people and perma banning them. Also don’t pay attention to the kills cams. They do not work since it only uses your client side information to render what happened which is very inaccurate.
im seeing the same thing. me and about 20 other people are taking notes and going to be a thorn in 343i a**. Its bs. Bring the ban hammer back and employees that actually play and see what’s going on. Lagswitching. If I get wiped off the bord by a better player then that’s the way its supposed to be. Not by cheating.

This is what I’ve run into also. Again, bring back employee players that see what’s going on. Halo is not supposed to be a hacker free for all like black ops. I love the YouTube shots of banned halo hackers. If 343i won’t become more active on there own. People need to step up and throw it in there face.
Wow, firstly Necro Ahoy!
As much as I hate to say it, with 343i working on Halo 5 and the MCC out, Halo 4 probably will not be seeing any more updates, and support will continue to fizzle out. Also, with BS Angel in her current position (No longer the active admin of the forums), she doesn’t have time to review cases of what would be percieved as ‘cheating’ whether the case is true or not. The only thing I case say is find the user and report the user for cheating and move on. You can save the video from theater to show friends, or if you do feel like contacting somebody, you can always show a monitor via PM (As publically posting would be calling out a player).
Also, keep in mind that not every instance of abnormalty is cheating. For example, people firing through corners of walls is usually caused by a bad host connection. Also, the kill cams are glitched and you can’t rely on them. I’m not saying there aren’t cheaters out there (As I’ve seen my fair share, some things being unique, but completely ruining a game), but those are your options at this point
-Find the user, and use the report feature to report them for cheating
or
-Save the video in Theater, Upload to Fileshare, and send a Monitor a PM explaining the situation with video link
