I don’t know about you guys, but one of the things that irritates me the most is the fact that some of the sounds are not rendered in multiplayer games.
In Reach, I could know instantly what killed me by the sound of the gun.
In Halo 4, sometimes I get killed and there’s nothing. Just my controller vibrating.
I got beat down a few minutes ago and my character just fell to the ground without any sound what-so-ever.
Some times I draw my sword and still no sound. I mean come on, I wanna be able to hear if someone draws his freaking sword right behind the corner…
It’s happening to me and my friend so don’t you dare tell me that you hear every sound, you don’t pay enough attention.
In just said about this in another thread, jumping in a vehicle using the horn has delays of several seconds, you can imagine being shot and not hearing it, before you know your shields are gone and your dead
Same here, happened a number of times especially when I get into melee fights. Once, I got rushed by a guy and I thought I died since I was pretty sure I melee-ed too late and didn’t hear my hit connect. I waited there for like 2 seconds then realized I actually beat down the other guy. I was like ‘Huh? How am I still alive?’
Other sounds I have a problem with are the plasma pistol, boltshot and the light rifle. Their primary fire feels so laggy because of how they sound when you shoot them. It’s hard to tell if the shot fired right when I pulled the trigger or like a split-second after it. I’m probably just not used to it but it’s kinda bothering me.
i noticed in Spartan Ops when I am getting the needler, you dont flinch like you did in reach. Next thing you know, that pink mists gettin ya. Sometimes i die and I dont know what killed me, no invisibles around! I dont like that one melee from an elite kills me, i was to be understanding that i am wearing armor.
